It is a pleasure to pursue my interest in visual art and enjoy presenting it. Although my college major was chemistry, I took elective courses in art which then led me to spend two years in a full time art course at Silvermine Guild of Artists in New Canaan, CT. In 2006 I studied various watercolor styles with Joan Polzin and after moving to Santa Rosa in 2009 have been studying colored pencil drawing with Nina Antze.
I started doing house drawings in 1970 and started my website,
In recent years my work has been shown at Sebastopol Center for the Arts, Berkeley Botanical Gardens, Filoli, Transition Art, West County Design Ctr., Pelican Art, Helen Crocker Russell Library at San Francisco Botanical Garden, Local Color Gallery, Bodega Bay, Graton Gallery, Finley Center. 2014 will be my 4th year of Open Studio with Art at the Source and 3rd year with ARTrails.
My studio in Graton is always open by appointment.
My artworks encompass Botanical Illustration, MixedMedia Collage and Watercolor, House Drawings and Abstract Oils.
